The first time I presented a seminar to a lecture theatre full of people pretty much everything that could go wrong did. I went home fed up and decided never to put myself through that again .
But I know that conference organisers complain that they can’t get women speakers and I actually didn’t want to give up. I realised that I just needed some training and practice in advanced presentation skills. I deliver workshops all the time, but this was something different.
Over the next year I spoke to every training agency that I knew of in the North West and couldn’t find anyone that delivered next level courses. So I called Claire Moore of Certain Curtain and asked if she could help.
